One of our Linux Hosting Servers is scheduled for a hardware upgrade on October 4, 2009.
Since this requires a downtime for the server, all the sites hosted
here shall experience an interruption in services for approximately 4
hours.
1) Sites hosted on this server will not resolve during the downtime.
2) Manage web hosting console will be inaccessible.
3) Control Panel modifications / actions will not reflect.
4) FTP service shall be unavailable.
Rest
assured, there will be no data loss and all the websites shall be
accessible seamlessly, once the servers are online and operational. We
deeply regret the inconvenience caused to you due to this interruption.
Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact
our support desk.

The Apache, PHP, MYsql upgrades are complete. I have fixed most of the errors. I have also noticed that I haven't gotten any support requests due to the upgrade. This is a good thing. If there is anything I have missed, please let me know. If you are curious what version of software they updated too, just look in your control panel.

I have implemented a new help desk. The old one would not
allow me to insert a custom field and due to the increase in my customer base,
the old software was making it very hard to track who is who. In addition, I
will be requiring all my customers to use this software. It is getting increasingly
hard to track all the support requests from all the different directions. I will not be answering support question via
email any longer, if you do send an email, I will simply ask you to use the
help desk. You can still use the old address http://support.tfwwebservices.com
. I apologize for the inconvenience. However, it is necessary to improve on my
support and keep my sanity. I will also be implementing the Knowledge Base that is included with the software. This will come later. Thanks.

Starting at 1:00AM PST Saturday March 21, 2009, we will be upgrading
the versions of PHP and MYSQL on all of our servers. This upgrade is
mostly seamless, but we ask that you all make sure that your scripts
are as up to date as possible. We noticed some clients using older
OScommerce versions, and they will break as a result of the upgrade.
Any OScommerce upgrade or install done in the past 3 years is fine, and
the upgrade is seamless. This upgrade only affects scripts that are
around 6 years old. We will be upgrading to PHP 5.2.6 and MYSQL 5.0.46
. These versions have been out for a while, and the development has
stopped for the 4.x branch.
